Customer & Office Support Specialist (Onsite – Plainfield, IL)

We’re seeking a dependable, service-oriented professional who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and contributing to a small collaborative team. This role blends customer support, software assistance, office operations, and community program support — ideal for someone who values purpose-driven work and variety in their day.
What You’ll Do

Support educators using our custom web-based software (phone, email, web meetings)

Set up customer data, forms, and system configurations

Assist clients via telephone, email, and web meetings with client troubleshooting, configuration, productivity, and customizing software to client needs.

Assist with documentation, training materials, and basic software testing

Assist in creating and distributing software product marketing for customer updates and webinars.

Support small charitable programs (computer donations, scholarships, teacher recognition)

Provide general office and light bookkeeping support

Collaborate with the team to resolve complex issues and participate in special projects when required.
What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and customer service skills

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Comfortable multitasking in a small team environment

High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and QuickBooks a plus

Interest in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven work
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000 annually
Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and budget alignment.
